Important Information
Check-in and Check-out Procedures
- Check-in is after 4pm and check-out is by 10am.
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager), or entry information cannot be sent.
Property Access
- Guests do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.
- Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATVs. For information about ATV rentals please visit: offroadadventuresnc.com
- Exterior security cameras are mounted on the walls facing outwards by each entry. There are no cameras inside.
Policies and Rules
- Minimum age: 25 years. Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- Children allowed.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- No events allowed.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- All Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
- Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
- The North Pavilion is host to several summer parties including a Fourth of July celebration and concerts which guests are permitted to attend; however, if there is a wedding or other private party, guests are not allowed in or near the Sportsman's Lodge.
Fees and Payments
- All Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the amenities.
- This home allows up to 2 mature, well-trained dogs with an additional pet rent of $50 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
- Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each.
- The summer concerts are open to all guests; however, there may be an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
Cancellation Policy
- Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
- Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit.
- Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
- All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
Parking and Vehicle Requirements
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains are required in times of snow and ice. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle; chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement. Please plan accordingly.
Utilities and Amenities Access
- TVs are ready for streaming; please bring your logins.
- Kitchens are stocked with utensils for meal preparation. A starter set of paper products is provided: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. These items are enough for one or two nights. Hair dryers are provided. Towels and linens are provided.
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment, etc.).
Age and Occupancy Restrictions
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- All visitors on the premises of the Winery must be 16 years or older. This is strictly enforced.
- Maximum occupancy: 12 guests. Maximum beds: 7 (2 bunkbeds, 1 king, 2 queens, 2 singles). Bedrooms: 4. Bathrooms: 3.1.
Safety and Emergency Information
- Exterior security cameras are mounted on the walls facing outwards by each entry. There are no cameras inside.
- Smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors are provided.

- Guests returning to Grayling Lodge may receive a 10% discount, not to be stacked with other discounts.
